Vote for the Vital Bolton Player of the Month

August hasn`t been a brilliant month for Bolton. While there has been progress in the Carabao Cup, we are still winless in the league, with just two points on the board. We`ve, as usual, picked out four players for the vote. Use the poll facility on the right-hand side of the page (desktop) or scroll down the page (mobile devices). Voting will close at noon on Wednesday.

Adam Armstrong
Armstrong has shown glimpses of his potential, scoring in both rounds of the Carabao Cup, and a decent all-round performance in the league game at Birmingham. He seems to have done enough for Phil Parkinson to start him ahead of Adam Le Fondre, but he is still struggling for consistency, judging from his performances against Derby and Hull.

Mark Beevers
Not quite the wall Beevers was last season going off early performances, but he did play well in the first three games of the season, including a vital goal line clearance when we were a goal down at Millwall.

Reece Burke
Came on for the injured David Wheater in the first game against Leeds and has since established himself in the starting eleven. He seems adept at anticipating things, based on the number of interceptions he has made. A different type of centre-back from Beevers and Wheater but not necessarily a bad thing.

Gary Madine
Had the Leeds defence on toast in the first game, he is the club`s top league goalscorer with two in two home games.
