A number of Bolton players have received call ups from their countries for this month’s international break.

In no particular order, Eidur Gudjohnsen has been recalled by Iceland for their upcoming European qualifier against Kazakhstan on March 28.

Gudjohnsen is Iceland’s record goalscorer and he was last capped by them back in November 2013 where they narrowly missed out on qualifying for the 2014 World Cup after losing to Croatia in the play offs.

On loan midfielder Simeon Slavchev has been named in the Bulgarian squad for the European qualifier against Italy on March 28. The Sporting Lisbon player could earn his fourth international cap in the game.

Adam Bogdan has returned from injury and been named in the Hungary squad for their qualifier against Greece on March 29.

Young duo Conor Wilkinson and Georg Iliev have received under 21 calls.

Wilkinson is on loan at Oldham Athletic and he has made the Ireland squad for their opening match against Andorra on March 26.

Iliev has made the Bulgarian squad for their opening qualifier against Wales on March 31.

Both sides will be battling for the 2017 finals taking place in Poland.
