Time for the promotion push to continue. We`re off to sunny Scunthorpe tomorrow, with Bolton looking for the first of those three more wins that would absolutely, definitely guarantee promotion back to the Championship. When we last met with these, it was a right top of the table clash that was settled with a late James Henry winner that should feature prominently in the end of season highlights showreel. Since February though, they`ve collapsed. A recent win over Bradford in a televised game shows what they are capable of, but this is a game where we are very much the ones in form.

Vital Quotes:

“Our away form has been good. You are under a lot more pressure to play nice football at home whereas away from home we can be a bit scrappier and more direct. I think it has suited us a bit.”

Mark Howard in the Bolton News. Yeah, I`ve mixed it up a bit. Beat that.

Scunthorpe United Team News:

Scunthorpe are without Harry Toffolo, Scott Wiseman, Jordan Clarke, Kevin van Veen, Sam Mantom, Luke Daniels, Charlie Goode and Tom Hopper. That`s a lot of footballers.

Player to watch: Matt Crooks

A loanee from Rangers, he moved back south of the border in January, and has been in decent form of late, bagging three goals in his nine appearances.

Bolton Wanderers Team News:

Gary Madine is a major doubt with the shoulder injury which forced him off at half time in midweek. This game will also probably be too soon for Andy Taylor.Gary Madine is a major doubt with the shoulder injury which forced him off at half time in midweek. Player to watch: Mark Beevers and David Wheater

Their exploits at both ends of the pitch have been magnificent this season. Scunthorpe looked very vulnerable from set-pieces in the Bradford game, so this could be a great opportunity for them to get on the scoresheet yet again, or just cause some chaos.

Match Facts & Stats

Mark Beevers has scored in each of our last five away games.

This is our first visit to Scunthorpe since September 1987, when we drew 1-1. Our sole away win against them was a 2-0 win in the third round of the FA Cup in 1959, when of course we were holders.

We were two points behind Scunthorpe before December`s against them. There has since been a 14 point swing as we lead them by 12.

Match Prediction:

1-1. Could be a harder game without Madine, but I still fancy us to get something.

Next Fixtures:

Oldham away next Saturday, before we play Bury a week Tuesday. I would say nasty things about both clubs, but I would like them to do us a favour tomorrow. So I won`t
