If reports are to be believed then Bolton defender Tim Ream could be subject to summer interest.

Ream joined Bolton two-years ago when he opted for the Reebok Stadium instead of going to the Hawthorns to sign for West Bromwich Albion, but they could make another approach for him this summer.

The American international had spent a week training with West Bromwich Albion late in 2011 but eventually opted for Bolton with his impressive performances seeing them retain an interest with a £4m offer perhaps coming in for him.

Bolton paid New York Red Bulls £2.5m to sign the defender, who has gone on to amass over 50-appearances for the club so far.

Would interest from West Bromwich Albion, or others, surprise you? Do you think he’ll see be a Bolton player next season?

Mr Ecky sends his best to the Vital Bolton community, he’s currently not well, he’ll be back as soon as possible and in the meantime, he’s got a staff writer to fill in for him.

If anyone has something to share in the meantime (this gives a genuine Bolton point of view from a Bolton fan!) feel free to fire an email through.

Please include your username so I can put that to it though.
