Bolton’s start to the Premier League season could not have been worse following defeat to Sam Allardyce’s Newcastle United. The Trotters’ found themselves three goals down in the first 27 minutes at the Reebok Stadium, following goals from Charles N’Zogbia and a brace from Obafemi Martins.

Wanderers boss Sammy Lee speaks following the defeat, and says the first half an hour was disappointing but takes a few positives from the second half display, where Nicolas Anelka pulled a goal back.
