The opposition lowdown on Saturday’s clash

As ever at Vital Bolton, we like to try and get the opposition view on the team we`re playing, because they`ll more about their club than us. Makes sense doesn`t it? Ahead of tomorrow`s clash with Derby, we spoke with Derby site 12th Ram who were kind enough to spare us a few words.

You`ve won one game, lost one and drawn one so far? How would you assess that start to the season?

It’s about as an average a start as you can get isn’t it?! Haha. To be fair a point away at Sunderland looks decent considering how they’re playing now. Wolves look very good, the team to beat, so no shame in losing to them and a comfortableish win over Preston. A 6/10 start.

How do you expect Derby to set up tactically tomorrow?

A 4-2-3-1 looks to be our style now with Tom Huddlestone holding looking to spray balls to the runners up front.

Is there one Rams player in particular that we should watch out for?

I would have said Huddlestone but everyone knows about his quality already! Tom Lawrence should start his first game for us and I’m very excited to see how he does.

And finally, what do you expect the score to be?

With all due respect to Bolton, they have to be on our list of must wins even though we’re away. It will be tough and we’ve been far from impressive but I fancy a 2-1 win for the Rams.
