Vital Leeds give us the opposition lowdown

Ahead of our season opener against the Yorkshire side on Sunday, we spoke to Daz from Vital Leeds to have a look at the opposition

It has been a summer of change for you, new owner, new manager, some new signings. What’s the feeling among Leeds fans, and what should your ambitions for the season be?

I think all of us are reasonably optimistic after last season. I do worry though as we are bringing in a manager with no Championship experience, the vast majority of our signings also have no experience of the Championship, and I think it will take time for them to adjust to the English game.

I also still feel we are short of a central defender and a striker despite making ten signings this summer.

What have you been able to make of Thomas Christensen so far? Have you been able to figure out how you’ll set up?

I think we will be much more attacking this season with the players we have brought in. Most had good records last season of goals and assists.

Samuel Saiz, Caleb Ekuban and Ezgjan Alioski look the best of the forward thinking players we have brought in

Chris Wood scored goals for fun last season, but is there anyone else we should watch out for?

I am expecting more from Kemar Roofe this season after a good pre-season.

And finally, what will the score be on Sunday?

Usually 1-1 when we meet in the League at the Macron Stadium in recent times so I will go for a repeat scoreline
