We speak to a Millwall fan ahead of Tuesday’s trip to the Den.

Ahead of Tuesday’s trip to the Den, we spoke to Millwall fan Joe Sardena to have a look at the Lions. We have a look at why they aren’t as high up the table as many thought they would be, plus what to expect on the night.

You reached the playoff final last season. but are now sat 17th. What has happened?

Last year we were a tight unit and very hard to breakdown as your manager knows when he was at Bradford previously. This season we had a good start then created a spell of bad luck caused by the team themselves. Last season teams found us hard to beat or breakdown.

Lately teams have found a hole or gaps to exploit. Hopefully we have sorted these things out now and the Northampton away victory will give the team the confidence to play without fear.

What should we expect from Millwall tactically?

Well Neil Harris likes the 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 and to play direct. It depends on what the opposition game plan is and they will work around that.

Is there a Milwall player we should particularly watch out for?

Steve Morison, he reminds me of Teddy Sheringham. He’s got a good football brain and scores goals. He was my and other Lions’ boo boy a few years ago but won me and others over big time. Amazing.

And finally, what’s your prediction for Tuesday night?

Can see your boys getting goals so I think we could be looking at 3-2 to Millwall.
