Marvin Sordell’s future is away from Bolton, this much has seemed clear for sometime now but a move to the premier league would surprise some?

Sordell spent last season on loan with Charlton Athletic the likelihood has seemed to be all summer long that he’ll be leaving and wouldn’t be back at the Macron Stadium next season unless it was as a visiting player, which it wouldn’t be if he left on loan again.

A permanent exit could see him go to Burnley though if the Bolton News is correct.

‘Clawing back as much as possible’ of the £3.2m outlay to Watford in January 2012 would be the aim for Bolton but I’d think most have accepted that a ‘heavy loss’ will be the case when he does leave.

Burnley do have his former Watford boss Sean Dyce in charge of them, which makes such links easy to make with only time telling how much of an interest there is.

Mr Ecky sends his best to the Vital Bolton community, he’s currently not well, he’ll be back as soon as possible and in the meantime, he’s got a staff writer to fill in for him.

If anyone has something to share in the meantime (this gives a genuine Bolton point of view from a Bolton fan!) feel free to fire an email through.

Please include your username so I can put that to it though.
