According to the Daily Mail, former Bolton and Newcastle boss Sam Allardyce is in talks with Nottingham Forest regarding the manager`s job at the City ground. The thoughts of Colin Calderwood, who was still in situ last time anyone looked aren`t recorded.

Allardyce would prefer a Premier League outfit, but Blackburn are taking their time in sacking Paul Ince, so the Championship it is.
