Fans reading the BBC preview of Saturday`s game between Bolton and Manchester City are likely to be confused. The person who wrote it certainly was. Where`s it being played? Who`s playing and which side are they on. Enjoy the quotes below.

`City halted Bolton’s run of four consecutive Premier League victories against them with a goalless draw in this corresponding fixture on 13 January.`

Not quite. That game was played at the Reebok. This one’s at the COMS. Look up the word corresponding.

`Manchester City are paying their second visit of the season to the Reebok. They’ve already won a fourth round Carling Cup tie there, courtesy of a controversial 86th minute penalty from Elano on 31 October.`

No they aren`t, dammit. Read the previous comment.

`NOLAN will be making his 250th start for Manchester City.`

They mean Kevin Nolan, although the Beeb usually refer to him as Ian Nolan. He`s a Bolton player.

`DAVIES will be making his 150th Premier League start for the Citizens.`

Guess who he plays for. A clue: It`s not Manchester City.

`Ivan CAMPO will be making his 150th start in City colours.`

This may explain why he`s not been given the ball that much lately. Our favourite chubby Spaniard has been wearing the wrong top. Put your Bolton shirt on tomorrow Ivan, there`s a good lad.

It`s good to see that licence payers’ money is being well spent.
