Those who visit the Tribalfootball website will know that it’s not exactly renowned for accuracy. Today’s story linking Ricardo Vaz Te with a loan move to Real Sociedad is a splendid example.

‘The Spanish Segunda Liga outfit want to take the Portugal U21 international on-loan in January for the second-half of the season,’ writes some unnamed muppet.

Making poor old Vaz play for anyone in January would be somewhat cruel. He is currently recovering from knee surgery and won’t be fit until next season. Crutches might be useful given his well known problems with remaining upright, but we’re sure there’s something in the rules about that.
