Things Get Worse for Bolton with Cahill`s Absence

Bolton`s Gary Cahill may face a lengthily spell on the sidelines after treatment for a blood clot in his left arm. The central defender spent the weekend in hospital.

The problem could have affected Cahill`s health severely and have even been life threatening, so there is relief that it was treated quickly and successfully. Initial reports stated that blood thinning medication would force him out for the rest of the season, but Bolton`s official site says that ‘decisions in regards to further treatment will be made by the club during the course of the week.`

We wish Gary Cahill a full recovery and hope to see him in a Bolton shirt before too long.
