Filip Twardzik is no longer a Wanderer.

Twardzik, who has played Under 21 football for the Czech Republic, joined Bolton in January 2015, Neil Lennon’s first transfer window at the helm. He played under Lennon at Celtic, but got little game time with the Hoops, and the same thing pretty much happened again during his time south of the border.

He scored on his debut, a consolation goal in a 4-1 thumping at Derby in february 2015, but that was as good as it got, with only four more first team appearances, and a partner who seemed to want out of Bolton.

Capable of playing in defence and midfield, he might turn out a good player one day, but he needs to drop down a level from where he has been trying to play to get first team football, which he has never had.

He might be able to do a job then. But not with us.
