Josh Vela bags the latest Vital Bolton gong
Josh Vela has won the December Player of the Month award with a landslide of your votes.
Vela bagged 71% of the votes after another superb month, including the opening goal in our 2-1 win over Scunthorpe that saw us leapfrog the long term league leaders, as well as goals against Gillingham and Sheffield United.
Gary Madine and David Wheater took an equal share of second place after getting 10% each, while Sammy Ameobi’s strong performances in what seems to be the end of his loan spell from Newcastle attracted 9% of the vote
