If David was to ply his trade with the Wanderers on a Saturday afternoon, then Victoria could nip into ASDA and do the weekly big shop. I’m sure David would find a few bargains in the George section.

As for cuisine, well, they’ll be impressed by Bolton’s range of resturants. They can eat Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Iranian, Chinese, Thai, Turkish, Greek, Italian, Spanish, Mexican – what more could they want? We also have a fine range of Fish and Chip shops so they can pick up their Friday night fish supper. And let’s not forget Carr’s pasties.

If they fancy a few drinks before a night at the Octagon Theatre or the Albert Halls, they can check out the bars and clubs of Bradshawgate. Sophistication doesn’t come any better than that.
