It’s the end of season awards…erm, season!
We’ll be handing out five awards, although not physically. Today, we’ve opened the voting on Twitter for the moment of the season (which is a foregone conclusion obviously), goal of the season, and signing of the season. Here are the nominations and links to the polls, which will close about 3.30pm on Friday
MOMENT OF THE SEASON
Aaron Wilbraham will obviously win it with that glorious goal to complete the Macron Miracle on Sunday. He’s on the shortlist twice, as anyone in the away end at Hillsborough in March will have loved his late equaliser too. Also on the list was our long wait for an away win, which eventually came at Sheffield United in December, plus Craig Noone’s goal which put us ahead at Barnsley. Shame we couldn’t hold on that day.
MOMENT OF THE SEASON

GOAL OF THE SEASON
Sammy Ameobi is on the shortlist twice, once for his curler against Sheffield Wednesday which broke Wanderers’ month-long scoring curse, plus his solo effort against Bristol City in February. Mark Little’s Cafu impression which saw him net against Barnsley makes the cut, as does Adam Le Fondre’s spectacular half-volley against Fulham.

SIGNING OF THE SEASON
Just to clarify, I thought about putting Adam Le Fondre in but being here on loan at the end of last season and merely making his stay permanent means I left him out. Anyway, Sammy Ameobi, Karl Henry, and Mark Little are the three permanent signings on the list, while Antonee Robinson had a great first senior season on loan from Everton.
