Bolton’s pre-season plans have been finalised with the announcement of a home fixtures against Vitesse Arnhem.

The Dutch topflight side will become the first side to visit the newly named Macron Stadium this summer in what will actually be Bolton’s final pre-season game ahead of the 2014/15 season.

Vitesse Arnhem will be in town on Sunday 3rd August in a game that kicks-off at 2pm.

I say the plans have been ‘finalised’ but the suggestion from the official website is that perhaps that might not quite be the case, so maybe we need to be prepared for the addition of more?

To date the full schedule, as listed on the official website, is as follows:-

Brondby IF (A), Brondby Stadium – Thursday 10 July, 7pm
FC Vestsjaelland (A), Harboe Arena Slagelse – Sunday 13 July, 4pm
Mjallby AIF (A), Strandvallen – Wednesday 16 July, 7pm
Macclesfield Town (A), Moss Rose – Friday 18 July, 7.45pm
Rochdale (A), Spotland – Tuesday 22 July, 7.45pm
Tranmere Rovers (A), Prenton Park – Friday 25 July, 7.30pm
Port Vale (A), Vale Park – Wednesday 30 July, 7.45pm
Vitesse Arnhem (H), Macron Stadium – Sunday 3 August, 2pm

Mr Ecky sends his best to the Vital Bolton community, he’s currently not well, he’ll be back as soon as possible and in the meantime, he’s got a staff writer to fill in for him.

If anyone has something to share in the meantime (this gives a genuine Bolton point of view from a Bolton fan!) feel free to fire an email through.

Please include your username so I can put that to it though.
