There`s a gap on the official site of Bolton Wanderers. It`s where the customer charter used to be. The previous one disappeared at about the same time as the new home shirt came out. This wasn`t surprising as there used to be a promise that the home kit would only be changed once every two seasons which had been broken.
Instead of the charter there is a one line message – ‘THE NEW BWFC customer charter will be here soon…` This was posted on 22nd June 2008. It`s almost December now.
The club has made strides in its relationship with supporters this season. The new Fanzone has proved popular, and fans liason officer Tony Kelly seems genuinely active in pursuing grievances, even if he does play the cheerleader role too often for some.
However, a formal statement of the objectives of Bolton Wanderers in regards to its supporters is essential. Without it, there is no point of reference. Over to you BWFC.
