You’ve voted him Player of the Month
David Wheater has taken the Vital Bolton February Player of the Month award.
Wheater won the vote, taking 62% of all those casted, getting involved at both ends of the field, and this season picking up a penchant for volleys.
Gary Madine picked up 25% and came second. I have no idea if Billy Sharp used his vote for this poll.
In third place, was January signing Chris Long, whose debut goal helped him to 12% of the vote, while James Henry’s mother (probably) ensured he had 1% of the vote.
But Wheater picks up his award. Well, metaphorical. Our budget doesn’t extend to an award, but if Wheats is in Scotts or the Harvester on Saturday lunchtime he can claim a pint of their cheapest lager.
