Hayden White has returned to Bolton following his loan spell at Notts County and it’s being reported that we have agreed a deal with Manchester United to extend the stay of goalkeeper Ben Amos.

White headed out to Meadow Lane back in January and he was originally set to stay there until the end of the current season, but having made three appearances for manager Shaun Derry the 19 year old returns to us early.

He moved to Bolton back in the summer of 2013 and he has made five appearances for the senior side so far.

There’s no confirmation yet through the club about Amos, but manager Neil Lennon is quoted in the press as saying about the 24 year stopper’s performances since coming in.

‘The goalie has come in and give us a lot more assurance, the two centre halves were outstanding for the 90 minutes. There’s a calmness about the keeper which maybe has been lacking a bit.’

Against Brighton it was our first clean sheet in 12 games.

Having joined us as cover for Adam Bogdan back at the end of January, he has now made three appearances for us and it’s said we have secured his services for an additional month.
