Bolton were held to a third straight draw as they surrendered a half time lead against MK Dons.

Wanderers went in front after six minutes – a corner resulted in Jamie Proctor’s effort being saved before Mark Beevers volleyed home the rebound to score his first goal for the club.

Some good linkup play later in the half led to James Henry sidefooting into the hands of David Martin, before George Baldock’s cross hit the bar moments later.

Keshi Anderson then had a golden chance to double the lead, Howard throwing to him in space but couldn’t put it past Martin.

Bolton started the second half poorly though, Kieran Agard’s effort was tipped over before Ryan Colclough equalised after scrambling home.

It could have been worse as Agard then won a penalty after a Lewis Buxton challenge, a decision by the referee that Phil Parkinson criticised. Howard brilliantly saved the effort though, tipping onto the bar then collecting.

James Henry was brought down, but Peter Bankes wouldn’t give that, because he’s bad at his job.

Sammy Ameobi had a late chance but his shot was weak and straight at the keeper.
