A tribute to injured Bolton Wanderers striker, Max Clayton
I have had to re-write this article twice due to terrible, terrible, terrible wifi from a certain provider….
Anyway, as we all have probably heard, my favourite player- Max Clayton has ruptured a anterior cruciate ligament. This, as things do, comes during a good spell of form for the youngster, with the former Crewe Alexandra man starting five consecutive games for Bolton Wanderers. This is his second bad injury in two years and he also missed the first quarter of this season due to contractual problems.
Here are a few tweets:
Devastating news to be out for the rest of the season 😫😫 but will come back stronger than ever ready for the challenge of next season 👊❤️⚽️

He’s certainly a terrific player. Here are some short clips showing his quality:
I’m sure you’ll all join me in wishing young Max a super-speedy recovery. It’ll certainly be tough to fill his boots and Emile Heskey may well end up being the man to do it alongside Eidur Gudjohnsen.
Another possible option could be Hatem Ben Arfa, who has been deemed as no longer wanted by Hull City who are loaning him from Newcastle United- kinda like the Keith Andrews situation.
