Are You Sure Sammy?

Sammy Lee is in a positive frame of mind going into tonight`s game against Macedonian pub team FK Rabotnicki, particularly when it comes to the fans,

‘This crowd have been terrific to me, to this football club and to this set of players. We’re not in the position in the Premier League that we’d like to be, but the support has been terrific,” he said.

Clearly he hasn`t read the hysterics on the Bolton News website, which is probably just as well. Bolton were fortunate to come away from Macedonia with a point and a precious away goal, thanks to some catastrophic goal keeping. A less than comfortable victory tonight and even Lee may realise that he`s on borrowed time as far as many of the supporters are concerned.

Crowd numbers will be interesting. Bolton dropped the admission price to £5 for season ticket holders and £10 for everyone else, with admission charges reduced to £1 for under sixteens. Prepare for a chav invasion.

Rabotnicki have pace up front which could prove troublesome, but they lack the defensive organisation to deal with a Premier League side, even one that`s not firing on all cylinders. Lee will get the result he needs tonight and then there`s just the small matter of Chelsea to look forward to.
