Bolton Wanderers have been drawn away to Rotherham in the second round of the FA Cup.
It’s a tough tie against a decent side that are in the same league as us, and of course that tie is subject to us getting through our first round replay away to Stockport County.
If we got through, we would travel to South Yorkshire on the first weekend in December, for our first game there since September 2019, when we lost 6-1 in Keith Hill’s first proper match in charge.
It could have been a better draw really, it would have been more interesting to have a tie against a team another division as opposed to a side who we’ll be playing again a few weeks later.
There hasn’t been any confirmed news about our Stockport replay yet, although it’s a really good bet to end up on the TV either next Tuesday or Wednesday.
