Bolton new boy Riga Mustapha, the least well known of Gary Megson`s summer signings, has been speaking of his hopes for the season, and says that he wants to emulate former Wanderers hero Jay Jay Okocha.
‘I knew much about Bolton because one of my favourite players was Okocha,` he said.
‘I always watched Bolton because of Okocha, who I think is the best dribbler ever.`
‘When he was playing for Bolton you could definitely see that he was their playmaker and everything was coming from him – I always enjoyed watching him.`
Mustapha scored in both of the pre-season games in which he started, both of them spectacular efforts and his much vaunted pace and acceleration was in evidence.
‘I hope to make this name ‘Bullet’ true, and I think I will,` he added.
