Confusion still reigns over what numbers Bolton players will be wearing for the coming season, with the official site doing its best to be uninformative. Last week, Abdoulaye Meite was down for number 10 (no, we didn`t get it either.) Now he`s back to wearing five. Sick note Helguson is in at 18, despite attempts to flog him to Nottingham Forest and Charlton, and Matt Cassidy and Scott Jamieson are also listed, despite having left the club.
Most worryingly, the number 26 shirt will be worn by Ali Al Habsi – and Fabrice Muamba. Any chance you could sort it out before the start of the season lads? Fans who have chosen to buy the monstrosity that is the new shirt, would like to know which numbers to have printed on the back.
