Bolton to Head to Denmark

Bolton will hold a training camp in Scandinavia, including two friendlies next month.

Wanderers will take on HB Koge on July 6, before travelling to Helsingor three days later. Both clubs recorded midtable finishes in Denmark’s second tier last season.

Bolton toured Scandinavia two years ago, where they drew with Brondby and beat Vestsjaelland in Denmark, before losing to Swedish side Mjallby AIF. Given our predicament, it’s interesting to note Vestsjaelland and Mjallby have since had financial problems themselves, and Vestsjaelland were actually dissolved midway through last season.
