Bolton Wanderers: Questions

No news, so back to you…

Good afternoon y`all. It`s a slightly smaller article today, mainly due to the fact that absolutely nothing is happening with regards to Bolton Wanderers today. Yes, Tom Eaves has extended his stay at Shrewsbury until the end of the season; but if you can turn that into an entire piece, happily replace me.

This international break is now getting to me. I want news that doesn`t involve Dougie going to St George`s Park, or Marcos Alonso doing a community scheme. I want battle cries, fears of failure, mind games. I want injury concerns and transfer speculation. If the media shuts down for a little mid-season kip, just how are us blogs supposed to operate?

I think I better start asking you a few questions, Vital Bolton family. My first is, looking at the seven games we have left to play; where won`t we win, and how many points will we get? Optimistic Parklar gives us six wins from seven, with the Cardiff trip being the only match in which we lose points. However, this may be down to the fact that I plan to do Leicester away, and don`t want to think about the horrible midweek journey home after a spanking. Whaddya think?

My second question is our current poll. Spearing or Dawson? I think it would be incredible to retain Dawson, however I just don`t see that happening. However, we have a great chance of keeping Jay, as long as he lowers his wage expectations. A player that has grown and grown this year, and one that could drive us to promotion next year, if he doesn`t do it in the next seven.

Another question to start the comments flowing. A weird one at that, and one that has been a hard one for me and my work colleagues to find a conclusive answer to. If you could guarantee sixth place for us in the league, but it meant that the England National team had to disband, would you? I know that this is completely hypothetical and somewhat bizarre, but I would happily put the smallest chance of success for my club ahead of Gazza tears et al. Comments below people?
