We are at the midpoint between matches. There’s a little bit of news, and some homework for you all….

Hello everyone. I`ve already had one of the most tiring weeks of my life, and when catching up on the latest Wanderers news, it appears there isn`t that much to tell. We have been linked with a winger from a second division Norwegian club, so its nice to know that the nonsense mill is back up and running. I expect us to be linked with a Tikka Masala before Janaury is out (yes, I do mean you at Click Lancashire).

Jamie Fullarton (do you remember him?) is another of the backroom staff at Crystal Palace to join Dougie`s revolution. The ex-Wanderers loanee worked within the youth structure in Selhurst Park, whilst also running his own football academy in Spain. Sounds ominous for any Coyle-appointment members of the coaching team, and I imagine that Dougie will be doing his best Alan Sugar impression infront of the underperforming Development Coach, John Henry.

Jacob Butterfield is looking likely to return to Norwich, just when he had started to get somewhere with us. It`s quite frustrating that we are losing him now, and not in January, when I think we should start to have Stuart Holden back sniffing around the squad. I can`t believe I just wrote that. I`m not superstitious but I`ve just cleared a table to touch as much wood as possible.

At that`s your bag really. I don`t want to waste anyone`s time creating stuff that just isn`t there. I will, however, point you in the direction of the documentary about Fabrice Muamba that aired on the fourth channel of the third channel last night. I haven`t watched it yet, but from what I hear, it goes past the point that other media depictions of Fabs have.

The general sporting journalism world seem to think that Fabrice was born a split second before he almost died. We know he didn`t, but there is still so much more for us to know. The lad had to fight to get where he did, which is why it makes it even more of a shame that he had to retire. We are missing, and will continue to miss, the player we thought he was starting to become. But I guess we will never know now.
