Bolton struggled to a point against the Championships bottom side Blackpool on Saturday but we’re back in action swiftly with a trip to Cardiff on Easter Monday. We go to the Cardiff City Stadium looking to improve on a run of just one win in our last six-matches.

Cardiff’s Ben Turner (ankle ligaments) could return for the first time since January with Federico Macheda and Alex Revell both being ‘assessed’ after missing the draw with Reading on Saturday. Injuries keep out Kagisho Dikgacoi and Anthony Pilkington.

Neil Lennon is likely to make a few changes as he was ‘unhappy with a sluggish start’ against Blackpool on Saturday, one to come out could be Rochinha after he was taken off at half time in that one-one draw.

Definitely dropping out is Adam Le Fondre (ineligible) as he can’t face his parent club.

Emile Heskey came on against Blackpool with Lennon having ‘half an eye’ on this game, so he should come back into the starting XI.

Mark Davies (knee) is thought to be ready to make his long awaited return at the weekend, but will again miss this one.

That only win we’ve managed in the last six was in mid-March against Millwall, but we’ve got a good record against Cardiff and have lost once in the last seven meetings since 1989, that being an FA Cup defeat in January last year.

We won three-nil at the Macron Stadium earlier in the season, same again please!
