Comings And Goings

Bolton have now officially waved goodbye to the players that are now out of contract, some could still have a future at the Macron but these will be few.

Arran Lee-Barrett, as recently covered, was one such player that Dougie Freedman apparently wanted to keep (he’s now been confirmed as leaving) with Stuart Holden coming back for some form of training this summer but without a contract.

Andre Moritz still, until this morning, had an offer on the table but was looking less likely to stay. He’s also been officially released now too anyway.

The 27-year-old doesn’t look to be joining Leeds United, as seemed likely, but according to the Bolton News has apparently had a contract offered to him by Cypriot side APOEL Nicosia. Should he accept they could offer him champions league football.

Speaking of moving on Marvin Sordell’s proposed move to Burnley continues to trundle along, but still has not been made official and until it does Bolton can’t ‘step up’ their interests in Lukas Jutkiewicz with Derby County said to have had a £1m offer rejected by Middlesbrough with them holding out for £1.3m….

Jonathan Parr should speak to Bolton ‘in the next couple of days’ but it’s also claimed that West Ham United, Queens Park Rangers and Legia Warsaw are all interested in the 25-year-old as well. Can the lure of working with Freedman again be enough to secure the international?
