Crunch Time at the Bottom. Again

The situation at the bottom of the table could change significantly today with Wigan and Sunderland being involved in the key game. The sides are locked on 23 points and a victory for either could give them a three point cushion on the teams below. Wigan won the corresponding game 3-0 at the JJB, earlier in the season and repeated the feat in an FA cup tie at the Stadium of Light.

Reading, seemingly in free fall, have a difficult away trip to Everton, as do Birmingham at West Ham. Bolton and Middlesbrough could find themselves comfortably mid-table, if they can secure home wins against Portsmouth and Fulham respectively while Newcastle could drop a couple of places if they lose at Aston Villa. Get your bets in now for a Keegan resignation.
