El-Hadji Diouf has had a stay of execution, but only until December!
The Bolton striker was due to face a short hearing at the magistrates’ court about an alleged case of drink driving but his presence was excused due to the fact Bolton were due to play Birmingham City on Sky’s Monday night live game. The game ended up being called off due to fog.
Diouf was breathalysed at the roadside by police on November 1st and then taken to the police station to be charged.
Reports say that no plea was entered at Monday’s hearing and the matter will now be dealt with on December 8th.
