Transfer rumours come in four categories. Good, bad, funny and horrifying. The idea that Bolton should sign Louis Saha from Manchester United is firmly in the last one. Not that Saha is a bad player. Far from it. The Frenchman is an extremely competent performer, when fit. A pity that he rarely is. Spending £8 million in transfer fees and £70,000 a week in wages for a player to use the treatment room is a tad extravagant.
Louis Saha? Louis Armstrong would be just as effective.
