Mikael Dyrestam will be in Bolton next week for a trial.
Desperate Dougie has invited Sweden international Mikael Dyrestam for a trial at the club next week.
Dyrestam is currently a free agent, after leaving IFK Goteborg at the end of December.
The 22-year-old defender- who plays primarily as a centre-back- can play in any position across the back-four.
Mikael made a total of 81 appearances for IFK, scoring two goals, and helped the club to a 3rd-placed finish in the 2013 Allsvenskan- which saw them qualify for the 2014/15 UEFA Europa League.
After overcoming a career threatening knee ligament rupture in 2010, he earned an international debut in January 2012, a 2-0 victory over Bahrain.
Let’s hope he can now show Dougie he’s got what it takes to succeed in the Championship… and if he does show it, Douglas can see it.
