New boy Jlloyd Samuel says why last week’s win has kick-started Bolton’s season as he looks forward to Saturday’s tie with Everton.

Talking to his Icons diary, Samuel said:

‘Our 3-0 win over Reading was a great result and a massive relief for everybody after we’d lost three matches on the bounce. None of us felt we deserved to be without points after three games and we got what we deserved against Reading. It wasn’t like we had played badly in the other matches, but we didn’t seem to get the rub of the green and it seemed liked every mistake we made led to a goal. We conceded eight in three matches and that was a bit demoralizing.’

He also admits that the pressure is now on Sammy Lee which Samuel says is ‘totally unfair’ adding, ‘He’s a very good boss and he’s prepared us brilliantly for every match. It just wasn’t happening for us on the pitch. The gaffer has worked really hard to get the right blend on the pitch and he has come in and given us all a chance to prove ourselves. We are desperate to show him what we can do and push Bolton up the table.’
