The return of weekly football is almost over and Vital Bolton cannot wait to keep you tuned in on all the action and behind the scenes activities. Over the summer we`ve strived to bring you the best possible experience for the coming season
As you might have seen in our last pre-season game, we`ll be bringing back Vital Bolton Match Previews. This has been an integral part of the site`s content over the years and that will start with tomorrow`s preview of our season opener against Derby County.
We`ve also brought back The Vital Bolton Fantasy League. Who cares that we`re not in the Premier League anymore? Go on fantasy.premierleague.com and put in the code 841214-206150 to enter your team into our league. I`ve gone for an almost all ex-BWFC lineup so I`ve basically resigned myself to coming last here?
With the likes of homegrown talent such as Zach Clough, Josh Vela and Tom Walker breaking into the first team and doing so well, we`ll be giving a lot of attention to our youth teams as we watch the likes of Jamie Thomas, Kaiyne Woolery and Jordan Lussey as they look to make the step up to senior football (mind you, they all recently joined from Blackpool, Tamworth and Liverpool respectively). There`s some real talent there, and I`m hopeful that they`ll all be given a chance in the first team.
A highlight of last season for me was the feedback received following The Wanderers Project and there will be plenty more of that with lots of special guest writers lined up and projects well underway.
Finally, I`d just like to say a big thanks to the community on here- the comments are the heartbeat of almost any football site and here it`s no different.
