After Sam Allardyce`s stunning departure, the news got worse for the Lancashire club today, with news that their home ground has metal fatigue and will not be available for use next season

The intricate steel infrastructure has won various awards, but is at the root of the problem, according to engineers from Bolton council who are obliged by law to make an annual inspection.

The Reebok is in an exposed position, with the wind coming off the moors,” explained a spokesman, “we would expect some movement over a period of time, but that now exceeds safety limits and regrettably the stadium will be out of use whilst essential repairs are carried out.

Bolton are expected to ground share with Blackburn for the coming year.

We`d like to point out that this news item is a total pre-fabrication (if you`ll pardon the expression) but with the rest of the media making stories up – Nolan/Jaaskelainen/Anelka etc to leave and Sam to join Newcastle/City/Chelsea/Read Madrid etc, it seemed churlish not to join in.
