Bolton Wanderers boss Sammy Lee says his side performed valiantly in an entertaining game at the Reebok Stadium. Wanderers went down to a single goal against Chelsea, and Lee decided to drop two of Bolton’s most consistent performers over the last few years as Kevin Nolan and Gary Speed weren’t even included in the 16 man squad.
Despite their omissions, Lee says it was the right thing to do.
