Team News For Bolton’s Trip To Leeds

After a pasting last week against Norwich, it doesn’t get any easier for Bolton as they travel to Leeds for their third game of the season against Marcelo Bielsa’s lot. They’ve lost two already, and it probably will be three.

Team news

Marc Wilson and Gary O’Neil will be assessed after missing last week, while Andy Taylor, Luca Connell and Jack Hobbs remain sidelined. Remi Matthews is likely to continue in goal. Marcelo Bielsa has helpfully named the Leeds starting lineup in advance – Casilla; Ayling, Jansson, Cooper, Alioski; Klich, Phillips; Roberts, Hernandez, Harrison; Bamford

Facts and stats

Bolton have lost their last six games against Leeds, including two this season, a 2-1 defeat in the Carabao Cup first round, and a league defeat in December, which finished 1-0 at the University of Bolton Stadium.

Our last win at Elland Road came in 2014, when we beat them 5-1. You could be very rich winning a bet on that scoreline tomorrow.

Bolton’s last seven league goals have been scored by seven different players. Feels like seven different seasons too…
