The Tuesday Bolton Round-up

It has been a pretty positive day for Wanderers on two different fronts.

Firstly, we brought you the news yesterday that the re-signing of Filipe Morais was all sorted bar the contract being signed. Today, he was back in the UK, and a deal was done for another season, and the option of a further 12 months.

Then came positive news on the financial front, with the news that the two winding-up petitions issued by HMRC in May have been sorted. It does still mean the court case in July will have to be heard, but that will now a mere formality that could take seconds.

Back on the pitch, tomorrow sees the fixtures released. From a footballing perspective, I don`t really care who we get, except for a home game on the final day, because if we were to need something then, I`d fancy us more at our place than away. Other than that, I find, and I presume many others agree, that any preferences are just a convenience or a personal thing. I`d quite like a home game on Boxing Day, for example.

Anyway, we can all plan the rest of our lives tomorrow.
