Josh Vela takes our January prize. He didn’t have much to do
Josh Vela has been crowned the Vital Bolton Player of the Month.
The midfielder has been amongst our strongest performers this season, and took a majority of the vote, with 62% picking him.
James Henry came second, with his Cup performances surely helping his score there. He took 29% of the votes.
Max Clayton and Zach Clough were the other two players we shortlisted, and they got very small shares of the vote. Zach Clough got just 7%, while it seems someone somewhere voted for Max Clayton, as he clicked over to 2%
It was a poor month for Wanderers though, and hopefully when we have nominations for Player of the Month in a few weeks time, we aren’t scratching around for them.
