Wenger the Whinger

It’s not guaranteed but if Bolton beat Arsenal tonight, their season is over. They haven’t a hope in hell in winning the Champion’s League and, let’s face it, they’re miles behind United and Chelsea.

You can point to the emergence of the kids as a plus point for this season but from what I’ve seen of them, they won’t win Arsenal the title.

I’d be surpised if Arsenal ever win it again with Arsene at the helm. He is losng it tactically. OK, he can get his team ready for the Chelsea’s of this world and the United’s but his team comes apart when faced with a combination of superb planning and spot-on tactics.

There’s every chance that Arsenal will win tonight – they’re due one. But then again, every time they take the field against Bolton, they should win. Wenger says how mcuh less he’s spent on players that the Big Two (as we should now call them) but he’s spent a hell of a lot more than Bolton. And they’re only one place above us in the league.

So if you lose tonight, Arsene, do it woith dignity and not your usual whinging and whining. You should be above that.
