Bolton`s Swiss misfit Blerim Dzemaili has ended the year in full on whinge mode by directing a broadside at the club who provided the best care available for him after he suffered a career threatening injury – before he`d played a single minute for them.

‘I still have contact with a few directors and teammates, but I am still angry with Bolton and don`t want to think about them any more,` Dzemaili, now on loan at Torino, told Channel 4`s Blog Italia.

It`s a bit different to what he said in September: ‘I do not think I wasted time in England as I got to learn a different style of play than I was accustomed to,` he gushed back then.

‘A few years ago it was my dream to play in the Premier League and Bolton showed they really wanted me.`

No doubt the midfielder is aggrieved that he didn`t get more of a first team chance at the Reebok, but if he hadn`t performed so abysmally in reserve games that might have been rectified. As Vital Bolton said at the time, he just wasn`t good enough for the Premier League.

Bolton fans will normally wish an ex-player well, provided that he`s not disrespected the club, whilst there or on leaving. That might be prove difficult on this occasion, given the ungrateful behaviour of Blerim Dzemaili.
