Former Bolton Wanderers player Mario Jardel has admitted to being a coke fiend. (We were going to describe him as a striker, but there`s only so far you can go with journalistic license.)
‘It all started with bad relationships,’ said Jardel, who perfected the tubby Brazilian routine* way before Ronaldo. ‘Then came my divorce, depression and drugs. I only consumed one drug, cocaine, but not while I was playing. I only took it during vacations.’
This will come as a shock to Bolton fans. They thought he was addicted to pies, kebabs and sticky toffee pudding.
