Bolton To Face Blades

Bolton have been drawn at home to Sheffield United in the FA Cup second round.

We have already hosted United and their billions-strong fanbase once this season. On that occasion Jay Spearing scored the only goal of the game as Bolton notched up an opening day win. But since then Chris Wilder’s men have climbed the table, and although both sides could and probably will make changes, this will be a sterner test.

The teams have eight FA Cup triumphs between them, and last met in this competition in 2010, when we ran out 2-0 winners in the fourth round at the Reebok.

Our record win actually comes against Sheffield United in the second round when we put 13 past them back in the 19th century. This time, I’ll take whatever, as long as it’s more than the other lot.
