The transfer window is officially closed, but deals can and do get done after the cutoff time if they were already in motion.

For those living under a rock, Bolton have made two signings today – with Adam Le Fondre making his much anticipated second coming, while we’ve also signed the young Birmingham City winger Viv Solomon-Otabor, also on loan until the end of the season.

We’ve had two confirmed ins but also two confirmed outs: Chris Taylor has gone to Oldham until the end of the season, while Jamie Proctor has been sent to Carlisle until the end of the season.

Is there anything that can still happen?

Zach Clough looks to be East Midlands-bound. A bid had been accepted from Nottingham Forest, in a wonderful piece of transparency, I’m sure it’ll be undisclosed. Clough, according to Lee Anderson, has agreed terms, but there has been no confirmation the deal has happened…yet. Anderson’s Twitter activity would also suggest Sammy Ameobi was a target that we tried for, but missed out on.

Bids had also been rejected from Wigan and Scunthorpe for Josh Vela and Mark Beevers respectively. Those would have been killers.

A move for Filipe Morais, now a free agent, still appears to be live, according to Twitter talk. The Bolton News have mentioned an unnamed defender as well.

Eoin Doyle went to Portsmouth in the end.
