CONFIRMED DEALS
Still nothing. The club’s only official communication today has been over Cateringate

WHAT COULD HAPPEN

It looks like the Sammy Ameobi deal will not be happening. Ameobi was speaking to the press ahead of Newcastle’s league game tomorrow night, so it seems unlikely he will be leaving St James Park.

The Adam Le Fondre return is still a possibility, but it would look like someone would have to leave before that could happen.

Meanwhile Viv Solomon-Otabor (of course we’ve heard of him) is still a target, but Oxford also want the Birmingham winger.

The Eoin Doyle rumour, is not yet dead in the water.

The club, though according to the Bolton News, are hopeful of making a number of signings today. It also seems Darren Pratley no longer has to be in the EFL-imposed squad quota, which helps.

On the outgoings front, Jamie Proctor is now wanted by Carlisle too, as well as the few clubs who wanted him earlier. Chris Taylor could still depart too, while unsurprisingly, Championship clubs have made bids for Josh Vela and Zach Clough, Ken Anderson has said to the Bolton News.

The window closes at 11pm tonight
