Bolton`s win over Burnley on 26th January has been declared null and void.
Fortunately for the Whites, this decision doesn`t come from the Premier League. Instead, it`s a product of the addled mind of Mark Lawrenson, a man who is to football punditry what politicians are to truth and honesty.
‘Bolton have not yet won in the league under Owen Coyle and I can’t see that changing at Ewood Park,` writes Lawro in his weekly column, before predicting a win for Blackburn in Sunday`s encounter.
In his last set of forecasts, Lawrenson got two results out of eight right, with no perfect scores. It`s a surprise that he got so many correct.
